The follow up to 'The Cassandra Syndrome EP', 'Absolute Corporeal Besmirchment' is XisForEyes' second release this year. A five piece deathcore band from Newcastle, they combine Mr. L Filth's slaughterhouse screams with speed shifts worthy of motion sickness. Where 'Transitions' offers temperamental guitar slides and enough repition to keep you hooked, the more determined pounding and well placed squeals of the brilliantly titled 'Saturday Night Cleaver' takes a more paced approach. Ultimately though, It's the indecisive tempo and vicious vocals found in 'The Blackening Sunset' and 'VultureManMouth' that makes this band and their brave inclusion of eerie choirs and Geordie accents more memorable than others
